"It was the best trip ever.... I want to go back already!"
Year 8/9 Residential 2019
On Monday 4th March, pupils from two Year 8/9 classes packed their suitcases onto school minibuses and set off for a 3 day residential to Carroty Wood, an activity centre in Tunbridge Wells. Pupils partook in lots of activities over the 3 days which included Archery, Low Ropes, Swimming, Climbing, Mission Impossible and a night walk.
Each pupil helped around the house, some helped prepare the meals, cook, clean, set tables etc and took their role responsibilities pretty seriously!
Wednesday arrived and pupils packed their suitcases ready to return to school, before they were joined by an additional two Year 8/9 classes who had come for the remainder of the week.
We are very proud of every pupil that went on camp and saw them grow in independence, confidence and character. They formed beautiful friendships with their peers and were very well behaved. Well done guys!
