What you need to know

At Cricket Green School we are busy preparing our young people for the best start to their journey of independence.  We need your help to develop the skills that make them more employable, raise  aspirations and learn more about their local community and its many industries.

Our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) aim:

To educate and develop pupils in order to lead independent, fulfilled and happy lives.  We aim to enable pupils to make informed choices and to develop greater levels of independence together with an increased awareness of themselves as learners, as individuals and as members of their local community. With this in mind, we work hard to ensure that each pupil has many opportunities in their school life to develop skills, qualifications and confidence.

Employers, we want to work with you!

Cricket Green School relies on the invaluable support of our community and local businesses. We are dedicated to raising our pupils' career aspirations, improving their employability skills, and exposing them to the exciting opportunities within the industries in their community.

Your involvement in inspiring young minds and transforming attitudes through various activities and opportunities forms the bedrock of our careers program, aligning with the Gatsby Foundation's eight Benchmarks of good practice and the Careers and Enterprise Company's guidelines.
